FOURPLAY: SAN FRANCISCO has been nominated one of the top international prizes for LGBT work, the Iris Prize. Check out their site for a list of quality queer short films to peruse in the future and as always, we are pleased as punch. BTW, I had the chance to see last year's winner, The Samaritan, by Norwegian director Magnus Monk, at Newfest this year. Below is a video of Iris jurists speaking about this powerful work and clips from the film. It you have the chance, seek it out and watch it today. Proves again the adage that just because you have suffered oppression does not mean that one day you will not become an oppressor yourself given the right set of circumstances. - Kyle

Congrats to the cast (Paul Soileau, Cyndi Williams, Gary Chason) and crew of FOURPLAY: SAN FRANCISCO for helping the film win Best Narrative Short at Newfest - NYC's premiere LGBT film festival last weekend. Check out the links above for a trip down blog memory lane. - Kyle
